A 2-man, un-supported expedition from Skagway, Alaska towards Lake Bennett with a 49 mile hike followed by a 1,980 mile kayak along the Yukon River to the Bering Sea.

“Poor Man’s Route”

Our Route:

Starting in Skagway, Alaska. This was the arrival port of thousands of would be gold prospectors. From here they would hike the arduous Chilcott Trail in to Canada and down to Lake Bennett before heading down the Yukon River.

Skagway, our start point for the Into The Wild 2019 leads to a 48 mile hike over the arduous Chilkoot Trail down in to Lake Bennett in British Columbia.
